Fairheads Benefit Services was once again acknowledged as the 2016 Trust and Beneficiary Fund Administrator of the Year at the Imbasa Yegolide Awards held at the Batseta Winter conference in Durban. The awards recognise excellence in various sectors of the retirement fund industry. This is the fifth time we have won the award (previously in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2015), which is a testament to our commitment to delivering outstanding service to our clients.
The theme for this year’s award submission was Treating Customers Fairly (TCF), something that is very close to our hearts, dealing as we do with vulnerable minors who have lost a breadwinner. The questions asked were rigorous, ranging from how we implement and monitor TCF from the Board level downwards, to the projects we have put in place to ensure that members’ interests are put first in all that we do. Following below is a short excerpt from our submission which sums up our approach to TCF.
“In adopting the TCF principles we recognise that fair treatment of our clients is about adding value to the service we offer our clients. We strive to meet the unique needs of our clients by offering transparent, efficient and professional services. We constantly monitor our performance and welcome feedback from our clients to identify areas for improvement. A good client feedback and complaints management system provides proof of the client experience. Fairheads uses this information to drive a more client-oriented service within the company.”
Richard Krepelka, Fairheads’ CEO: “I would like to thank all our stakeholders for their ongoing loyal support to Fairheads Benefit Services. This award would not have been possible without you.”
