WATCH Fairheads’ Guardian Roadshow – meeting each other face to face
Members, guardians and caregivers are invited to the workshops which are held in a community venue and presented in the language of the region. The purpose is to explain and remind attendees how trusts and beneficiary funds work, give updates on processes and explain the various channels by which the Fairheads teams can be contacted for information and assistance. We also explain the role of the board of trustees. Looking ahead to help younger members, we engage with those who are 15 years and older, reminding them of the need to apply for an ID at age 16 so that they can register for tertiary education and open a bank account. We also provide them with tips on achieving their academic and career goals.
The Guardian Roadshow is interactive, with our consultants on hand with laptops to address member-specific queries. We have had very positive feedback from members, guardians and caregivers and we welcome all who live close to the venues to attend.
From Fairheads’ perspective, the Roadshow provides an invaluable platform for gathering insights into the evolving challenges and concerns of our clients in order to enable us to serve them better.
